Los Rios Community College District (LRCCD) was looking for unique ideas to entice and inspire prospective students to consider one of their colleges’ programs. The positioning for this engagement is that LRCCD is where people get careers, not jobs. This is especially important to reach people who would benefit most from a sustainable career that uplifts them, their families, and their communities.
Initially presented with the goal of acquiring 750 new patients in Juneau, our work together resulted in reaching 527% of that goal as 3,949 new patients began their care journey with SEARHC.

Removing Recycling Confusion for Sacramento County residents Through Behvior Change Education

Sacramento County residents were confused about what recyclables could be placed in the curbside recycling cart. Per cart checks, customers continue to “wishcycle” by putting unacceptable items in the recycling cart, thinking that may be sorted for recycling at a processing facility. To add to the confusion, on July 1, 2022, The SacGreenTeam’s curbside customers will be required to put organic material into their green waste cart instead of their trash cart.

However, SDCCE was experiencing a misconception about its programs caused by historically targeting outreach to older students that prevented them from recruiting younger students.
