Where do safer roads rank in the minds of Placer County residents? This question was a concern for the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency (PCTPA). With a goal to bring in additional funding for priority traffic projects, PCTPA needed residents to understand the need for local road projects to help alleviate regional traffic congestion, as well as to actively support the organization’s efforts to make these projects a reality.

The ACEs Aware Initiative, led by California Surgeon General Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, seeks to reduce adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress in half in a single generation. Part of the work of this initiative is to train medical providers to screen their patients for ACEs so they can lead with trauma informed care. The challenge, however, is enticing medical providers to actually take the training using social media.

The campaign, Sac-to-Zero, introduced several electric transportation options for the betterment of the City’s residents. EA’s objective was to spread mass awareness for Electrify America’s $44M Sac-To-Zero investment in the city of Sacramento amongst general market consumers who live, commute, or work within the city limits.

The positioning for this engagement is that LRCCD is where people get careers, not jobs. This is especially important to reach people who would benefit most from a sustainable career that uplifts them, their families, and their communities.
Initially presented with the goal of acquiring 750 new patients in Juneau, our work together resulted in reaching 527% of that goal as 3,949 new patients began their care journey with SEARHC.

The Pacific Library Partnership, with support from the California State Library, wanted to increase awareness and use of CAreer Pathways, online professional development tools free to Californians with their library card. However, they faced the challenge of low awareness and usage among the intended end-users: under/unemployed Californians, who are disproportionately women, people of color, young people (under age 25), and people with less than a bachelor’s degree.
