Several 3Folders had the privilege of attending the “Prelude To a Season Luncheon” hosted by the Sacramento Arts and Business Council last Friday. This was a memorable luncheon – not just because we were treated to something other than your standard chicken and rice pilaf dish, and not just because we had great entertainment, but because two of the award winners were associated with 3Fold.
Michael Neumann, the director of the Sacramento Youth Symphony won the award for Arts Educator of the Year. 3Fold’s non-profit director, Kim, sits on the board of this organization, and last year 3Fold had the pleasure of working with the SYS to update their logo, re-launch and manage their brand, as well as work with them on some innovative media and outreach strategies to bring both donors and audience members to their concerts. If you haven’t been to an SYS concert, you are truly missing out. These kids sound world-class and it’s an amazing musical experience.
We also joined in the celebration as Bill Blake from the B Street Theatre won Art Executive of the Year. The B Street Theatre is a current client and friend of 3Fold, and we are more than proud that the Business and Arts Council recognized all the hard work that Bill puts in for the Theatre, as well as the arts community in general. The B Street Theatre is currently working with 3Fold on several projects: stay tuned when B Street launches its’ new website this month, and in the early part of next year its’ attention-grabbing general awareness campaign.
While we are exceptionally proud of Michael and Bill, it was also great to see that 3Fold Communications was able to further our mission of contributing to thriving communities by supporting and working with these fine arts organizations.
